Eufy caps new passwords at 20 characters and restricts special characters to a fixed allowlist (!*@#$%^&*()_-|[0]/?.,>), on top of requiring uppercase, lowercase, and numbers. A hard upper bound well under any real hashing algorithm's actual limit is a classic sign of dubious password handling under the hood.
